Other merchandising companies take on a large number of clients, each of them with hundreds, if not thousands, of products to look after. This can mean that time gets taken up with the big clients and smaller companies sometimes get overlooked. At Sales Maximizer we only work for smaller companies so we can make sure that we have the time to give every client the service that they need. And quite frankly, we like working for smaller clients as we can build great relationships and give everyone that personal touch.
You often hear the boast that companies have large numbers of staff working for them. This usually means that they have employed one part-time merchandiser to service each store. At Sales Maximizer we feel that this isn’t giving you the best service possible. Part-time merchandisers don’t get to know the products like a full-time experienced sales rep that services many stores does. We see the products every day and get to know all about them, what they do, how they look, how big they are, what should be in each store, and how the planograms should look.
Part-time merchandisers generally have very little experience in sales, they are often employed by the hour, so they get paid whether they get a sale or not, and many of them are simply doing a bit of casual work to get some pocket money. Some merchandisers work for scores of other companies, probably even your competition.
Working on commission means that if we don’t get sales, we don’t get paid. This works well for everyone as it’s in our interests to make sure that your products look good and sell well, and you aren’t paying someone an hourly rate regardless of how much work they do.
At Sales Maximizer we don’t make you pay for unnecessary extras, such as iPhone tracking apps and up-to-the-minute Big Brother-style reports. As far as we’re concerned, if you hire the right people, you don’t need to keep track of them with fancy phone apps. The proof that we’re doing the job you’re paying us to do is in the orders we generate. We’re not going to bill you for reports you won’t read, we’re just here to maximize your sales at an affordable rate.
